The best architecture makes complexity disappear.
Connecting accessible interfaces with maintainable engineering decisions.
Build around journeys
A clear user journey provides a useful guide for the structure of an application. Group related functionality, keep navigation predictable, and make the important next action easy to find. The user should not need to understand your internal systems.
Make the foundation reusable
Shared components create consistency when their responsibilities are clear. Start with common patterns such as forms, feedback, and navigation. Avoid forcing unrelated experiences into a single component just to reduce duplication.
Treat accessibility as architecture
Semantic markup, keyboard access, understandable errors, and visible focus belong in the initial design. When they are part of the shared foundations, every new feature can inherit a better starting point.
